Love Your Neighbor Week

We call this week Love Your Neighbor Week. In Matthew 22:39 Jesus told his audience, “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” In fact, the command to love one’s neighbor appears ten different times in the Scriptures. For the next seven days, our strategy is that every member of Bethel would perform “intentional acts of kindness” in Jesus’ name, in order to demonstrate God’s love to coworkers, neighbors, friends, and complete strangers.

Let’s begin planning creative activities our families can perform, or that we can do as individuals. And let’s begin praying for those who will receive these acts of kindness, that seeds of the Gospel will be planted in their hearts, which will bring forth much fruit.
