Upper Bucks Christian School Serves Community (2 of 3)

After reading the book “In His Steps” by Charles Sheldon, the ninth grade English class united together to answer the question, “What would Jesus do?” in today’s community.

One of those ninth graders, Maggie B spearheaded a charity drive for A Woman’s Place, an organization that provides services to fight against domestic violence. It includes a shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, educational programs and a 24 hour a day hotline.

On December 7, Linda Thomas, director of services for A Woman’s Place and Miss Marlowe watched as Maggie, Victoria M and Chantelle P began loading the thirteen boxes and ten bags of toys, clothes, and cell phones into the shelter’s van. Maggie truly ignited a fire in Upper Bucks Christian School to make a difference in the community and reveal what a heart fully dedicated to Jesus looks like.”
